Build a list. Send a text.
Watch the replies come in.
Push Messaging isn't a separate tool bolted onto Txt2Give — it's the same number, the same account, the same reply-to-give flow your donors already know. Brand & campaign registration (7–14 days) happens once, up front — after that, every send is instant.
Import your list
Bring in a donor contact list — Missions givers, first-timers, your whole list — and import as many separate lists as you need.
Write your push
Compose the message — a sermon series update, an event reminder, a year-end appeal.
Send it
One click sends to everyone on the list, instantly, from your existing Txt2Give number.
Donors reply to give
They text back GIVE. We ask how much — they answer, and it's done. No new number to save, no app to download.
Built for the messages that move people to give.
Your donors aren't checking a dashboard. Push Messaging meets them in the one app they already check every day — texts.
Target multiple donor lists
Import separate contact lists — Missions givers, event attendees, your whole donor base — and push to each one individually.
Sermon series & campaigns
Announce the new series, the mission trip, or the building fund — right where donors already are.
Event reminders
Nudge registered donors the morning of, or the week before, without lifting a finger.
Crisis & emergency appeals
Once you're registered, reach your existing list fast when the moment calls for it — no new number or download for donors.
Compliance handled for you
TCR/10DLC brand and campaign registration (typically 7–14 days) — Txt2Give manages the paperwork so your messages actually deliver. Sending over 2,000 messages a day requires additional advanced vetting (a one-time $50 fee).
One-time or recurring
Send a single push, or schedule the same reminder to go out automatically each month.
One number. One reply. That's it.
Push Messaging goes out through your existing Txt2Give number — the same one already on your bulletin, website, and signage. Donors reply GIVE right in the thread, tell us how much, and the gift's done — exactly like any other text.
No new number to memorize. No separate download. No extra login.
Simple, one-time setup.
No surprise fees.
Push Messaging is billed separately from your core Txt2Give plan, and the registration fee is paid once — not per campaign.
What it costs
- Setup & submission fee $29 one-time
- Monthly campaign cost*
- Charity / Nonprofit$7/month
- Mixed$15/month
- Low Volume Mixed$5/month
- Credits (per segment sent) From $0.045
- Advanced vetting (2,000+ messages/day) $50 one-time
*These are the three most common campaign types — other options are available at signup.
TCR requires a 3-month minimum commitment on campaign fees, billed upfront — your first month is discounted 50% to offset the registration wait; months 2 and 3 bill at the full rate. The $29 setup fee is paid once, ever. Push Messaging requires a Txt2Give account — a free plan is available if Push Messaging is all you need.
Credit pricing (volume discounts)
1 credit = 1 SMS segment (up to 160 characters). Messages over 160 characters use multiple credits per recipient. Tier pricing is based on the total credits in a single purchase.
What is TCR/10DLC registration?
The short version: it's the carrier-mandated process that keeps your texts landing as real messages instead of getting filtered as spam. Here's what it actually means for your account.
What are TCR and 10DLC?
The Campaign Registry (TCR) is the system U.S. wireless carriers use to vet who's sending business text messages. 10DLC ("10-digit long code") is the type of number those messages travel over. Registering your organization's "brand" and each messaging "campaign" is what tells carriers your texts are legitimate — unregistered traffic gets filtered or blocked. Serving donors in Canada? Registration works a little differently outside the U.S. carrier system — reach out and we'll walk you through it for your account.
Why does registration take 7–14 days?
We review your application within 1 business day of submitting it. From there, carrier approval through TCR typically takes 7–14 business days — that part is set industry-wide, not something Txt2Give can speed up. You'll get a confirmation email the moment Push Messaging is live.
Why is the campaign fee billed 3 months upfront?
TCR requires a 3-month minimum commitment on every registered campaign. We collect that upfront — and discount your first month by 50% to account for the days you're waiting on registration before you can send.
What is "advanced vetting"?
Accounts planning to send more than 2,000 messages in a single day need an extra layer of carrier review to confirm legitimate high-volume use. It's a one-time $50 fee, separate from standard brand and campaign registration.
Do my donor contacts need to opt in first?
Yes. TCR only approves campaigns that message people who've agreed to receive texts from your organization — a sign-up form, a text-to-join keyword, or another documented opt-in. Part of applying is showing us the page where that consent is collected; if you don't have one yet, we can help you set it up.
What do I need to apply?
Have ready: your organization's EIN, legal name & address, a support email and phone number, the URL of your text opt-in page, a screenshot of that page's consent language, and a link to your privacy policy & terms of service. The application takes about 15 minutes and can't be saved partway through, so plan to finish it in one sitting.
